BattleField 1942 DEMO Official Website

http://www.ea.com/official/battlefield/1942/us/home.jsp
Great thing they haven't still removed all the necessary files there!

-------------------------------------------------------------

Server: Hokkaido Jpn

http://bf.hokkaidojpn.com/
Location:Japan
Version: 1.1
A BattleField 1942 Demo Server.
The maps are slightly modified, go join the server if you are starting to feel boredom with the normal Wake, then you'll find something that is new, something that is interesting.

Server:Test Kyusyu HardCore
http://www.geocities.jp/test_kyusyu_hardcore/
Location:Japan
Version: 1.1
A BattleField 1942 Demo Server.
Hail. The server I am sticking to. The map is normal. No annoying nosecam, no disturbing third person view, no bomb-lovers-friendly friendly-fire damage modification.
I want only moderated, mature people to join this server, since there team-killers mess up matches quite frequently (which is slightly annoying).

Server:Qussco.jp
http://www.qussco.jp/bf/
Location:Japan
Version: 1.1
A BattleField 1942 Demo Server.
The map is normal like in Test Kyusyu HardCore which I mentioned previously.
Although there's a huge difference between these two servers.
That is, in this server, third person view is allowed to use.

Server:Best KANSAI Soft Cle
(Namasu Medical Centre / C's Garden MOD)
http://bf1942.web.fc2.com/
Location:Japan
Version: 1.1
A BattleField 1942 Demo Server.
The maps are modified, sometimes extremetly and sometimes moderately.
Personally I love this server being unrealistic. Flying destroyers, Zero/Corsair with jet engines surely would make you hilarious!

Server: www.bf1942demo.com

http://www.bf1942demo.com/
Location: U.S.A.
Version: 1.0
A BattleField 1942 Demo Server (Version 1.0).
There actually are 2 versions of BattleField 1942 Demo, 1.0 and 1.1 (patched version).
Most of Japanese servers are running on version 1.1. But there are several non-Japanese servers which are running on version 1.0 like this one.
Unfortunately, version 1.0 is not compatible with version 1.1 at all, so you need to install BattleField 1942 Demo 2 times to play on both versions.
(*You can install both versions on a single computer, let me know if you'd like to know how.)
The map is surprisingly comfortable for those plane freaks like myself, join the server and let me shoot you down!
The information on the website about BattleField 1942 Demo is quite helpful and detailed, although I haven't still read much of the website... If you are to launch your own BF Demo server, better catch a glimpse of the tutorial on the website.

Server: Tokyo Melon Server
http://mp40.blog.shinobi.jp/
Location: Japan
Version: 1.1
A BattleField 1942 Demo Server.
The maps seem to be modified a lot. (It may be incorrect since I've never joined the server myself.)

Server: |[KIA]| WiZ'S WaR RooM V1.0 / |[KIA]| WaR Room Gmetrack v1.0
http://www.kiaboard.com/killersinaction/
Location: U.S.A.
Version: 1.0
A BattleField 1942 Demo Server (Version 1.0).
Managed by a clan called KIA.

NEEDED: If any of you knows the website of another server, let me know by posting a comment. (like Swe Good Guys server's)

Thanks for the plug to our site.

http://www.BF1942Demo.com/

It's main focus is geared to Modding the Battlefield 1942 MP Demo.

And is much like this just a place for those who share a love of the classic game of the BF Series...

Times have changed and 1.1 has far fewer servers then 1.0

The main reason for this is the abuse of well known exploits / hacks available for the 1.1 Demo.

In either case you can easily play in both 1.0 and 1.1 Servers from a single machine. I have a tutorial posted in our forum.

Love to see you in one of our servers.

Another site you may wish to add is for the RW- Tanks Server for 1.0

http://www.roadwarrior1942.com/

Thanks again for the plug.

Thank you a lot for leaving the very first comment on this desolate blog. And I'm really sorry for being extremely late to reply.

I've constantly been playing this Demo for quite a while, but currently I've got less free time compared to the amount I had a year ago. Therefore I've reluctantly made a choice to keep myself a bit away from things related to it.

But I just noticed I myself have to do something really actual for our beloved Demo just because there's going to be tremendous amount threats to it like BattleField Heroes, which will most likely to be available in no time. So I might be going to increase my activity to popularize the Demo by posting some silly articles on this blog.

I also started to play on the 1.0 Demo and have already seen you in your server several times. I found the configuration of your demo server suit my taste as a total plane freak ;-)

Let us just seek the way to keep this fancy Demo alive!

Thank you again for leaving the comment.

Wow....it was cool to see our server posted here along with our website. Thanx alot for the mention and hope you will drop by Wiz War Room or Zulu War Room. If you are plane lover, you will have a ball in there. But....you will have to find out yourself. LOL
Was great to see the plug for http://www.BF1942Demo.com/
as that site has been instrumental in how KIA modded our servers.
Peace
